ग्रहों के मारक ग्रह

सूर्य से शनि, शनि से मंगल, मंगल से गुरु, गुरु से चंद्र, चंद्र से शुक्र, शुक्र से बुध, बुध से चंद्र निश्चय कर के मारे जाते हैं... अर्थात् सूर्य से शनि का दोष मिटता है इसी तरह सर्व ग्रह एक दूसरे के फल को मार देते हैं.....

ग्रहों के दोष शामक ग्रह 

राहू का दोष बुध नाश करता है राहू व बुध इन दोनों के दोष को शनि नाश करता है.... राहू, बुध, शनि इन तीनों के दोष को मंगल नाश करता है... राहू, बुध, शनि, मंगल इन चारों के दोष को शुक्र और राहू, बुध, शनि, मंगल और शुक्र इन पाँचों के दोष को गुरु नाश करता है, राहू, बुध, शनि, मंगल,  शुक्र और गुरु इन छहों के दोष को चंद्रमा और सातों ही ग्रहों के दोष को विशेषकर उत्तरायण में रवि नाश कर देता है.......

According to Jataka Parijata (II - 73.74),

Mercury when in strength is said to counter the evil used by Rahu. Saturn can counter the evil caused by the combining of Mercury and Rahu. Mars is said to be capable of overcoming the evil generated by these three planets put together. Venus can counter the evil caused by all these four planets being together.  Jupiter can overcome the joint evil of all the 5 planets Mercury, Rahu, Saturn, Mars and Venus. The Sun is said to be so powerful that he can remove the evil effects of the foregoing planets plus of the Moon.
